The choice of the blind box is essential when renewing our windows since a bad box can ruin the insulation of any enclosure. The RolaPlus shading system protects and isolates the home from the outside, reinforcing the insulation, resistance and watertightness of the window.
The design of the drawer is completely waterproof and includes an interior piece of reinforced insulation that guarantees the low thermal transmittance of the system.
ACOUSTIC ISOLATION
One of the most common causes of failure in terms of the acoustic insulation of an enclosure is that it is combined with a poor quality blind box. A bad drawer can ruin all the insulation of the window by acting as a drain through which noise from the street filters through. RolaPlus manages to not only maintain but exceed the acoustic properties of the window, reaching 40 db of external noise reduction.

The KÖMMERLING PVC blind box stands out for its robustness and great impact resistance. In addition, RolaPlus incorporates self-locking slats to reinforce security, replacing unsightly bars. A well-installed blind with adequate locking mechanisms is the best security to protect a home against theft.
SUSTAINABILITY
Like all KÖMMERLING systems, RolaPlus is manufactured with fully recyclable materials and free of lead and other heavy metals. In addition, it helps reduce CO2 emissions by minimizing energy expenditure throughout its life cycle. RolaPLus carries the Greenline seal that certifies its excellent ecological balance.
WATERTIGHTNESS

As in double glass insulation systems (in which the intermediate vacuum does not allow thermal or acoustic transmission), our decorative lid box has developed and registered the Thermo-Acoustic System damping system. This system consists of the floating lid receiving the vibrations caused by sound and the vibration is dissipated by means of elastic nodules.
In addition, there are 3 hermetic closing points due to the action of elastic strips that seal the joint between the manhole cover and the upper and lower profile, sealing any thermal leakage and insulating by means of its double chamber.
